Discovering 2014 is a personal goal to complete a daily project throughout the year!
Today’s project was a Wreath Ribbon Sculpture. It uses 3/8″ korker ribbon and two 1/4″ silk ribbons for the bow on a covered hair clip.
Today’s project was a set of Pac-Man and Pac-Man Ghost Clippies. They all used 1″-1.5″ ribbon, trimmed down and heat seared into the appropriate shapes. The ghosts are sporting some googly eyes while Pac-Man is chowing down on a couple of rhinestones!
Today’s project was a Santa Hat Clippie. Some of the projects I picked for this month would have been a bit more appropriate in December, but I guess this gives lots of time to perfect them!
The hat used 1.5″ red grosgrain, folded and glued into a triangular shape. Then you use 3/8″ white grosgrain to wrap the bottom. Finally, make a roll of 3/8″ white grosgrain for the top, and optionally fold an extra bit of white over it to cover the open gap up top.
